How You Can Help

“Dear children, let us not love with works or tongue, but with actions and with truth.” 1 John 3:18
There are lots of ways you can help provide education opportunities in Haiti. You can make a difference!!

Prayer

On the medical mission trip to Haiti 2 weeks after the earthquake, we witnessed God moving in the lives of those injured and receiving life-saving medical care and rehabilitation. God turned fear into peace and despair into hope. Prayer changed everything!
Please join us in praying for:
  1. Those we impact to know Jesus and His love,
  2. The school children,
  3. The children, parents, teachers, and communities,
  4. The ministers caring for their communities,
  5. Our college students, and
  6. THEA.

VOLUNTEER

  • Become a THEA translator.
  • Join us on a trip to Haiti.
  • Share your expertise. Consider partnering with us to further partner with skilled trades men and women in a Haitian community for teaching skills (i.e. gardening, health profession, mechanics, animal husbandry, etc.) which would enable individuals, families, and communities to be self-sustaining.
Do you have another skill you would like to teach? Please let us know! We’d love for you to join us!
  • Support the work of the next trip to Haiti

DONATIONS

Please consider donating to THEA
Donate Now
100% of your donation goes directly for our education programs in Haiti. We are able to do that because THEA has separate fundraising events such as flea markets and car washes, etc. throughout the year to pay for our operating expenses.

To volunteer for one of our fundraisers or host an event, please contact Marlene.

Community Enrichment Projects

There are many ways you can support THEA’s community enrichment projects.

Consider donating teaching materials. Ideas include:

  1. class subject teaching resources (i.e. science, math, or art, etc. kits, may also include a simple lesson plan)
  2. gardening tools
  3. medical and orthopedic equipment
Consider donating funds to purchase teaching materials and equipment/project materials in Haiti and for shipping costs of donated items.
